Job Summary

Operate chain machine to produce a variety of zipper items from brass, aluminum, and nickel wire.  Maintain quality through visual and measured standards set by written procedures. Follow production schedule set by management.  Move production to next department for processing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Remove production lots from machine and ship to designated area.  Weight of carts/barrels range from 100 lbs. to 1,000 lbs.
• Verify quality by both visual inspection and measured standards based on written procedures
• Make decisions on quality concerns and notify management
• Regularly replace raw materials on machine based on item requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED (minimum
• Must know how to read micrometers and tape measure on a frequent basis.
