Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• VERIFIES THE COLOR VERSUS THE JOB CARD.  USE THE COLOR BOOK AT THE WORK STATION AS WELL AS THE SAMPLE ATTACHED TO THE JOB CARD                               
• VERIFIES THE LENGTH VERSUS THE JOB CARD   
• VERIFIES THE QUANITY IN EACH BOX BY USING THE SCALE AT THE WORKSTATION                     
• VERIFIES THE SLIDER IS CORRECT IN EACH BOX BY USING THE SLIDER CATALOG LOCATED AT THE WORKSTATION                
• VERIFIES THE ITEM IS CORRECT INSERTION VERSUS THE JOB CARD

• IF A DEFECT IS FOUND, THE BOX WILL BE RETURNED WITH NON-CONFORMING TAG TO THE INSPECTION AND PACKING WORKSTATION TO BE CORRECTED
• A RETURN MATERIALS FOR  DEFECTS SHEET WILL BE FILLED OUT AND MANAGEMENT WILL BE NOTIFIED IMMEDIATELY
• SCAN FOR OUTSIDE LABELS AND DC SHEET AND PLACES THEM ON THE BOX THAT IS TO  SHIP
• EACH BOX WILL BE STAMPED APPROVED BY THE THE FINAL PACKER
• THE BOX IS READY TO BE  PLACED ON A PALLET AND SHIPPED TO THE CUSTOMER                                                                     
• PUSHES METAL CARTS THAT WEIGH 400 LBS TO DESIGNATED PACKING TABLE                                                                            
• PERFORMS ANY OTHER RELATED WORK A REQUIRED BY MANAGEMENT

Supervision and Scope of Position

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED (minimum)
• Able to push metal carts that weigh 400lbs

THE PHYSICAL DEMANDS DESCRIBED HERE ARE REPRESENATIVE OF THOSE THAT MUST BE MET BY AN EMPLOYEE TO SUCCESSFULLY PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS JOB.  REASONABLE ACCOMODATIONS MAY BE MADE TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS.  WHILE PERFORMING THIS JOB, THE EMPLOYEE IS REGULARLY REQUIRED TO TALK AND HEAR.  THE EMPLOYEE IS REQUIRED TO STAND, WALK, STOOP/BEND, REACH/STRECH,  CLIMB, USE HANDS AND ARMS TO LIFT OBJECTS AND /OR MATERIALS WEIGHING UP TO 75 LBS.  THE EMPLOYEE MAY BE REQUIRED TO OCCASIONALLY PUSH MATERIALS OR PRODUCT THAT WEIGH UP TO 1,500 LBS.  SPECIFIC VISION ABILITIES REQUIRED BY THIS JOB INCLUDE CLOSE VISION, DISTANCE VISION, PERIPHERAL VISION, DEPTH PERCEPTION AND ABILITY TO ADJUST FOCUS.
