Job Summary

Operate multiple needle loom machines and follow established procedures to perform inspection of tape and evaluate against specified quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Observe machines for proper operation and notify mechanic or TE of repair needs 
• Records machine breakages and stops
• String up machines by guiding yarn and cord from creel stand through proper guides to machine
• Fill creel, weft and cord stand with appropriate bobbins
• Perform frequent quality checks; identify and remove defective material
• Must be able to convert to metric system, using metric ruler to measure tape width
• Doff full spools from machine and place in storage area
• Must be able to follow detailed instructions
• Performs any other duties assigned by management
