Job Summary

Plans, directs and supports activities concerned with the development, application and maintenance of quality standards for manufacturing processes, materials and products by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Directs the investigation of Customer Claims for assigned area/department/customer, including cost relation to RGA issues and/or cost of replacement.
• Establishes monthly communication with each customer and tracks problems for that customer.
• Issues and manages a Quality Alert system used to communicate customer issues to management and production employees.
• Assists manufacturing departments in identifying re-occurrences and/or duplicate issues with same (or other) customers.
• Develops and submits a monthly report to mark progress of assigned responsibilities and status of projects. Reviews results with EQA Manager.
• Document and tracks all PPAP and 8-D 5 Why requests from customers. Completes Monthly Report and monthly presentation of same information.
• Maintains information relating to S and A rank quality issues. Prepares trend charts and ensures assigned time frame is met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (cont.)

• Assists Environmental Manager/Engineer in preparing Title 5 reports.
• Maintains current documentation from beginning to end on Corrective Action activities, evidence and results.
• Prepares and distributes various weekly, monthly and quarterly reports relating to quality issues and solutions.
• Assists, when necessary, various managers and departments with quality related audits.
