Job Summary

Operate 16-18 machines with safety, quality and production as top priorities. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate assembly machines observing all safety precautions, regulations and good housekeeping practices.
• Conduct two complete quality checks per shift using precision gauge and tools.  Constantly visually check quality of slider parts and slider finish.
• Check parts feeder bowls for proper level of parts to ensure efficient operation of assembly machines.
• Fill feeder bowls with slider parts as required to prevent machine from stopping.
• Check assembly machines for any sticking parts and clear parts by using a pick or notify mechanic if mechanical problem exists.
• Know slider parts and different finishes.  Understand job cards, record daily production and machine downtime and machine problems.  Communicate any problems to mechanic.
• Performs any other work as required by supervisor
• Must be able lift up to 50 lbs.
