  • Pipeline creation: Prospect, qualify, and develop a pipeline of new opportunities; lead discovery and translate technical needs into commercial proposals.
  • Offer & solution development: Package AM capabilities into scalable offers (e.g., prototyping, bridge production, qualified production, Design for Additive Manufacturing services, post-processing) with clear scope, pricing logic, and delivery assumptions.
  • Sales enablement: Build sales strategies, presentations, ROI/TCO models, and qualification frameworks; train internal teams and support high-value pursuits.
  • Strategic accounts & complex deals: Own pursuit strategy for strategic opportunities, including stakeholder mapping, proposal development, contract negotiation support, and close planning.
  • Partner ecosystem: Identify, onboard, and manage partnerships (machine OEMs, materials suppliers, software providers, service bureaus, channel partners) that expand reach and capability.
  • Voice of customer: Capture customer requirements and pain points to influence roadmap priorities (materials, process, certifications, quality systems, digital workflows).
  • Pricing & business cases: Develop commercial models and business cases, including unit economics, margin targets, and implementation plans.
  • Go-to-market execution: Plan and execute launches, campaigns, and industry events; collaborate with marketing on content, webinars, and lead-generation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (cont.)

  • Operational alignment: Partner with applications/engineering and operations to ensure feasibility, lead times, quality requirements, and risk mitigation for customer programs.
  • Forecasting & reporting: Maintain accurate CRM (Salesforce) data, pipeline forecasting, and KPI reporting; communicate risks and opportunities to leadership.
