Job Summary
The Forecasting and Inventory Planner (II) is responsible for the creation of the forecast and execution of the inventory plan to meet sales and service objectives. The Forecasting & Inventory Analyst position is NOT remote and must report to the Marietta, GA office. This is accomplished by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Designing and generating weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports.
- Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends.
- Utilize best methods (statistical models and software tools) in creating forecasts and respective inventory targets.
- Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management.
- Prepare, report, and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets).
- Continuously improving forecasting techniques, method, and approach.

- Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast (historical sales, market trends, seasonality).
- Relating and measuring the impact of forecast accuracy.
- Schedules and coordinates shipments of products to warehouses in the USA and offshore.
- Comply with YKK’s Compliance Program Including Environmental, Quality, Health & Safety, and Confidential Information Management Guidelines.
- Performs other position-related duties as assigned.

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Business Administration or Operation Management; or 4 to 8 years of related experience in master scheduling, forecasting and planning and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities
- Experience with DRP/MRP functionality
Certificates and Licenses: APICS CPIM or CSCP highly desired.
Travel Requirements: Minimal overnight and local as needed.
