Job Summary

YKK Corporation of America is seeking a highly skilled and experienced accountant, preferably CPA, to oversee the accounting, treasury, and tax functions for our US companies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, managing financial risks, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accounting operations for a US holding company and subsidiaries.
  • Manage the month end close and quarter end close and reporting package to parent organization.
  • Responsible for budgeting and forecasting of business plans throughout the year. 
  • Manage the treasury functions, including cash flow management and banking requests.
  • Oversee tax accuracy for US companies and coordinate tax requests with tax firm.
  • Serve as key contact with auditors for planning, interim and annual audits.
  • Prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements and annual foot note disclosures.

  • Develop and implement financial procedures and internal controls where needed. 
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
  • Improve processes and procedures with digital transformation initiatives.

Supervision and Scope of Position

  • Lead and mentor two direct reports and engage directly with other subsidiaries managers.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
