Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to preform preventive maintenance and repairs to WEAVING machinery and equipment by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs quality Inspections as required. Identify yarns by package label to compare to spec sheet. Identify defects in webbing and relate to a cause and corrective action.

Corrects any mechanical failure or adjustment on all styles of looms as necessary. Start pattern changes and make necessary adjustments to meet product specifications

Assists and follows up with Weavers in completion of assigned tasks.  Train new fixers as needed.

Maintain supply inventory.  Mark when low.

Comply with, TapeCraft’s Environmental, Quality, Health, Safety & 5S objectives, polices & programs, and relevant procedures.

Perform the duties of an operator as needed. 

Performs other position-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education/Experience: 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 6 to 12 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
